The Department of Food Science was built around the idea that we have two customers; students, and the industry we serve. We have personnel on staff specifically to assist companies.
Laurie Lambert Van Keppel (formerly Laurie Swift), our External Relations Coordinator, is here to answer your questions and ensure a "win-win" relationship with our department. For the company that is interested in collaborating with the Department at "a higher level", we have our Industrial Associates, a 20+ year program that helps us better our program by staying in touch with our industry partners.
