About Us

The Indiana State Egg Board is charged with regulating the sale and commerce of shell eggs in Indiana.  The program is overseen by a Governor appointed Board which represents the various segments of the shell egg industry. We are associated with Purdue University and are housed in the Department of Animal Sciences. Our staff consists of field personnel that conduct inspections at retail and wholesale locations across the state.
