ABout THE MYDY Lab
Current research focuses on the protein structure, function, and analysis of enzymes in plant natural product biosynthesis. The Mydy lab uses approaches from biochemistry, analytical chemistry, and biophysical chemistry to determine how new chemical bonds are formed in unique compounds that have potential therapeutic, agricultural, and biocatalytic relevance.

We are a proud member of the Center for Plant Biology and Dr. Mydy is a mentor for the NIH T32 Molecular Biophysics Training Program at Purdue. The Mydy lab accepts graduate students through the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Graduate Program and PULSe at Purdue. Please contact us for more information.
