The Mydy Lab

About Us

Our lab is fascinated by natural products, compounds made by living organisms, and how they are made. We are especially interested in plant natural product biosynthesis. The Mydy lab uses techniques like X-ray crystallography, mass spectrometry, enzyme kinetics, and transcriptomics to investigate how plants produce compounds with therapeutic and agricultural relevance.
