Safety Rules

  • Safety glasses are required.
  • Assume tool always contains fasteners.
  • Don’t wear loose clothing or gloves, keep long hair tied back.
  • Keep bystanders away when using a pneumatic fastener gun.
  • Keep fingers 2-3" away from working point.
  • Never remove guard.
  • Never point the tool at anyone including yourself.
  • Never depress trigger unless nose is against material in a safe manner.
  • Load with air disconnected and finger off the trigger.
  • Take special care when working near the edge of material or at a skew.
  • If machine is malfunctioning stop immediately and report to supervisor.
