Wolf Park Internship Program

A Unique Opportunity in Wildlife Conservation

Wolf Park invites passionate individuals to join its Internship Program, an extraordinary opportunity to work hands-on with wolves, foxes, and bison while contributing to environmental education, research, and conservation efforts.

This program goes beyond traditional internships. Participants will gain practical experience in habitat care, animal enrichment, and visitor education, while also developing skills in problem-solving, project management, and creative thinking. Interns will play a vital role in shaping the future of Wolf Park and its mission to promote wildlife conservation.

2025 Internship Dates:
  • Spring Session: February 3 - April 25
  • Summer Session: May 19 - August 8
  • Fall Session: September 1 - November 21

Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and must be submitted at least 30 days before the session start date.

Stipend & Housing:
  • $150 weekly stipend
  • Shared housing provided (housing deposit required)
  • Food and transportation not included
Qualifications:
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required (college students or recent graduates in animal sciences or related fields are preferred).
  • Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Proof of a tetanus booster within the last 10 years is required.
  • Applicants must be capable of working in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
  • A background check is required.
