This report summarizes the insights and recommendations from a one-day national policy consultation on produce safety co-hosted by the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Safety, the Nepal Food Scientists and Technologists Association, Agriculture and Forestry University, and Tennessee State University. The main objectives of this consultation were to address knowledge gaps, deepen understanding of the fresh produce safety landscape in Nepal, and contribute to more targeted and effective policy interventions that improve access to safe and nutritious fresh produce.
