The Forest Regeneration and Restoration Laboratory addresses two major themes: seedling quality and planting; and restoration of threatened forest tree species. This research is globally important to help meet ambitious new targets for tree planting around the world, while also addressing threats to native forest tree species from global change including introduction of damaging exotic pests.
