STREAMING DIRECTOR

Farm Journal seeks a streaming director who will manage the day-to-day execution of our streaming channels and contribute to the overall strategy. This is the person who uploads videos and manages the look and feel of our SVOD channel, maintains the lineup of our FAST channel, and is the subject matter expert who is the point of contact for sales, marketing and other departments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Content management of SVOD, FAST, YouTube and social reels platforms:
• Lead the user experience and ad monetization on our streaming platforms.
• Streaming subject matter expert for sales
• Streaming subject matter expert for our audience & marketing teams
• Data reporting

Experience:

• Background with managing streaming content: from social media to livestreams
• Experience using streaming and digital video software and platforms
• Experience managing and creating content for social media platforms
• Experience using and analyzing digital analytics
• Background in journalism a plus
• Knowledge of the agriculture industry a plus
• A track record of leading a small team
• Experience working collaboratively across different departments
• Proven aptitude for growth and a curiosity to discover.
• Ability to work calmly under deadline.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field.
