Multimedia specialist Intern
Locations: St Louis, MO
Compensation: $23-$38/hr

Responsibilities:

Learn professional media delivery methods used in a commercial or government setting.

Provide support for multimedia services that enhance and support the transfer of learning for the client's educational programs and organizations. This may include:

Assist in the design, production, implementation, and maintenance of video and/or graphic-based content.

Design art layouts and determine style, size, and arrangement of type for various print products (to include digital signage).

Translate client requirements into design and storyboard deliverables.
-
Provide design and development of motion graphics and animation.
-
Acquire and utilize knowledge in the fields of video and audio production, graphic and 2D/3D motion graphics creation, and captioning technologies.
-
Develop and expand client consulting skills, as they relate to media technologies, production process, and team capabilities and services.
-
Gain experience in operation and maintenance support of the client's studio spaces (sound booths, video studios, and video-enabled classrooms).

Develop expertise with client media streaming applications.
-
Interest in obtaining a clearance including a polygraph
Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship

GPA of 3.3 or higher

Pursuing an undergraduate in the field of multimedia design, marketing, or related (or comparable work experience)

Interest in obtaining a clearance including a polygraph

Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Audition.

Ability to multitask across multiple projects in a team-based environment.

Ability to display a portfolio that showcases broad design and/or video expertise.

Professional experience in higher education or an adult learning institution.

Ability to be a Self-starter with demonstrated customer support and collaboration expertise.

Experience with Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate for authoring web-based training.

Pursuing a degree within the areas of graphic design, video/media production, learning technology, fine arts, or a related field.
-
Experience operating sound mixers, microphones, video cameras, and related equipment.
