John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship
Overview
The Knauss Fellowship offers graduate students a unique, year-long opportunity to work on national policy issues related to ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes resources. Fellows are placed with host agencies in Washington, D.C., including congressional offices, NOAA, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Fellowship Period
February 1, 2026 – January 31, 2027
Eligibility
Graduate and professional students in marine or aquatic-related fields at U.S. accredited institutions are eligible.

- Submit via the Online Application Form by February 19, 2025, at 5 PM.
- Official transcripts are required and can be sent electronically to msgfellowships@umich.edu.
