Summer Outreach Intern – NICHES Land Trust
Location: Lafayette, IN
Job Type: Seasonal, Full-time (40 hours/week), 12 weeks
Term: May 20 – July 25, 2025 (flexible start/end dates)
Pay: $15-18 per hour
Reports To: Development Director

Position Overview:
The Summer Outreach Intern will support NICHES’ development and outreach efforts, focusing on the Summer Adventure Camp and other nature-based public programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support family and youth programs.
- Represent NICHES at community outreach events.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as organizing camp supplies.
- Facilitate volunteer activities and assist with event coordination.
- Help promote public programs through blog posts and social media content.
- Experience working with children.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to engage with the public professionally.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
