Welcome to the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources (FNR) website! It is our mission to partner with federal, state, and private organizations to develop and disseminate knowledge in the natural resource sciences associated with the protection, management, and sustainable use of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems; the fish, wildlife, water, and timber resources they produce; and the ecological, recreational, and esthetic benefits they provide.

faculty and professional staff
is the base of FNR's success. The FNR
offers Master of Science, Master of Science in Forestry, and Doctor of Philosophy in all of these focal areas.
