The Department of Forestry and Natural Resources is dedicated to providing students the attention needed to be successful in today's workforce. We offer several services to help students find jobs, internships and summer employment. These services include general career guidance and specific advice with writing resumes and cover letters, preparing for interviews and developing job search techniques, and more. Need help getting started? Review the FNR Four-Year Career Plan (PDF) for things you should be doing throughout your program. You may also visit our office in Room G003 of Pfendler Hall. The College of Agriculture offers career service resources, including a Four Year Career Plan. Sherrelyn Meyer is the Assistant Director of Academic Programs and Career Services and Scholarship Coordinator. The College maintains a Web site with position announcements and internship​ availability.

Purdue University offers The Center for Career Opportunities as a resource for students, alumni and employers to connect. The mission of CCO is to engage Purdue University students and alumni in exploring career options and developing effective job search skills. The CCO facilitates activities that connect students and alumni with employers and develops partnerships with Purdue colleges, schools and other stakeholders to deliver career services.
