This project brief describes the goals and projected outcomes of project Chakula Salama – which means “safe food” in Swahili– to improve food security and nutrition in Kenya. This project is funded by USAID and the Food Safety Innovation Lab as part of Feed the Future, the U.S. Government’s global hunger and food security initiative.
