Strengthening Afghan Agricultural Faculties (SAAF)

The objective of SAAF is to strengthen the capacity of the Faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Science at Afghan universities.  SAAF’s primary partner is Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and the program is collaborating closely with the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL).  With a view to achieving these goals, the program has supported a limited number of Masters and Ph.D. scholarships for Afghan professionals. SAAF will continue to support students in the United States and India through 2016.
