Simple Banner (one single banner image). This option works when you have a simple image to promote or advertise your product/content.

  • Please provide a good title to grasp the user's attention and direct traffic to the right place. This title must deliver a good understanding of what is on the page (follow SEO best practices found in the Cascade User Guide).
  • You will also have the opportunity to add a brief description (250 characters) to invite the user to stay engaged in your page or to click and learn about the subject (action button is optional).
  • The simple banner offers two layout options for displaying content:
    • Layout 1: Image on the left, title on the right, with the description and button (link) displayed in a black box at the bottom. The banner on this page demonstrates this layout.
    • Layout 2: Image on the left, with the title, description, and button (link) arranged on the right (no black box), as shown in the next image.

  • On mobile devices, the image appears first, followed by the title, description, and button stacked vertically.
  • For the image, use a ratio of 3:2. The Image will take about 60% of your screen size and will adjust to the dimensions of your screen device. Be aware that for any banner using images with faces, you will risk losing some heads when the image adjusts to the screen size (learn more about working with images in Cascade).
