Brood X Cicada’s are coming! Brood X Cicada’s are coming!!

The PPDL would like to pass along the following resources to our readers.

Elizabeth Barnes and Cliff Sadof article in the Purdue Landscape Report will inform you on timing and locations, how to id the insect, what damage can be expected, and the best ways to control that damage.

Cliff Sadof also has a publication, E-47, that gives a good history of the insect along with many interesting photos of the 17-year Cicada.
