Salad Kit Pick-Up Logistics
Salad Kit members will receive 10 weeks of salad vegetables, with the start date on March 6 and the last pickup on May 8. Bi-weekly shareholders will receive their first box on March 6 and then every other week thereafter.
The location of the pick-up will be at the farm (1491 Cherry Lane, West Lafayette) every Friday between 4 pm and 6 pm. When picking up the box, we will ask for your name to check off a list, then place the box wherever you would like in your vehicle. A contact-free pick-up is an option. Just let us know in advance. If there are weeks when you cannot pick up your box, you are welcome to send someone else to grab your box, or we can donate it to ACE Food Pantry. Alert the farm manager by emailing studentfarm@purdue.edu before the pick-up date of that particular week.
The composition of the salad kit will vary throughout the season. Please note that we will not always have the same produce each week, and crop failures are possible, though unlikely. Expect a weekly email about the composition of the salad kit
We thank you all for participating this year and look forward to seeing everyone! If you have any questions or issues, don't hesitate to contact the farm manager, Chris Adair.
