Environmental Safety Technician
Support hazardous materials management operations by collecting, inspecting and processing chemical and biological waste in compliance with University, State, Federal and DOT regulations. Assist with or perform waste treatment, packaging, labeling, manifest documentation and facility inspections, while following standard operating procedures and safety requirements. Respond to chemical spills, accidents and emergencies on a 24-hour basis. This dual-level position (S1/S2) is based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications.
