Environmental Scientist / Environmental Engineer / Physical Scientist
We are seeking a motivated environmental professional to support environmental protection and water resource management initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with government agencies, community stakeholders, and interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate environmental programs that promote sustainability, regulatory compliance, and public health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical and programmatic support for environmental and water quality initiatives.
- Analyze environmental data and conduct assessments to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for program improvement.
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of environmental protection programs and projects.
- Develop technical reports, recommendations, presentations, and other documentation to support decision-making and program objectives.
- Monitor and manage grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, and funded projects to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
- Collaborate with state, local, tribal, and community partners to advance environmental goals and strengthen stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct research and technical analyses related to environmental policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Support program oversight activities, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Contribute to strategies that protect natural resources, improve water quality, and promote environmental sustainability.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Biology, Natural Resources, Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to interpret environmental data and communicate findings effectively.
- Experience working with environmental programs, regulations, grants, or project management is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
