LaRose Named ACTE Professional of the Year

Dr. Sarah LaRose was named the 2022 National Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) Postsecondary Professional of the Year in November 2021.

LaRose’s research goal is to better understand and measure the short, medium, and long-term effects of school-based agricultural education programs upon increasing agricultural literacy and preparing a workforce to meet cross-disciplinary needs of the 21st century.

The ACTE award recognizes the finest career and technical education teachers at the postsecondary level who have demonstrated innovation in the classroom, commitment to their students, and dedication to the improvement of CTE in their institutions and communities.
