  • Follow labels

  • No mandatory supervision

  • No recordkeeping requirements

  • No age limit for applications

  • No certification requirements

Office of Indiana State Chemist Requirements
  • Must be a Private Applicator to purchase and use or supervise the use of a Restricted Use Pesticide
  • Core Certification Exam
  • Minimum age is 18 years to obtain Private Applicator (PA) permit
  • Apply for Private Applicator Permit

SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS

Applying Pesticide with Drones

  • Pass category 11 exam

  • Follow guidelines in using spray drones in Indiana (PPP-156) at link

  • Will be added to your permit

Purchasing and Applying Fumigants

  • Pass the 7D examination which will be added to your permit
