These self-paced, online eLearning courses can prepare you for the Indiana pesticide certification exams or introduce workers to the basics in your field. These courses present 5 to 8 hours of training through Purdue University’s online delivery system and include a copy of the training manual as part of the registration fee. The certification exam is NOT part of the e-Learning training. You will have to sign up at indiana.metrosignup.com to take the exam at a site close to you.

Technology Requirements

  • You will need to use a computer with a strong, reliable Internet connection. It is NOT recommended that you attempt to complete this course using only a mobile phone for your connection.
  • Students must be able to use BrightSpace, the online learning platform, and all its features. This includes being able to navigate course content and answer quiz questions.
  • If you do not have your own computer, consider going to your public library as most have free computer access or contacting your local extension office.

To sign up for the category you are interested in, you will need:

  • Click on the course title listed below to learn more and register.
  • An email address for registration.
  • A mailing address to receive the hard-copy manual.
  • A credit card to pay the registration fee.

ELEARNING Exam Prep Courses

PESTICIDE CORE ONLINE TRAINING 
Pesticide CORE training addresses the fundamentals all pesticide applicators in Indiana must know. Applicators seeking certification as a commercial applicator, or private applicator must take the Core exam. As part of the course, an electronic manual is included. For an additional fee, a print manual can be purchased.
