private APPLICATORS - ONLINE RECERTIFICATION PROGRAM

One of the three recertification programs can be the PARP online program. No more than two recertification programs can be attended, for credit, in the same year.

Refunds will not be given if more than two programs are attended in a year.

Technology Requirements

  • You will need to use a computer with a strong, reliable Internet connection. It is NOT recommended that you attempt to complete this course using only a mobile phone for your connection.
  • Students must be able to use BrightSpace, the online learning platform, and all its features. This includes being able to navigate course content and answer quiz questions.
  • If you do not have your own computer, consider going to your public library as most have free computer access or contacting your local extension office.

What to Do and When

The online PARP is a self-paced course, you can go through the material as quickly or slowly as your time allows. The modules are designed to allow you to review the material as many times as you need until you feel confident that you have learned the material.

After registering, you have until December 31st at 11:59 pm (midnight) in the calendar year in which you enrolled in the course to complete. You must pass the Completion Quiz with at least a 60% score.

Course Completion

After passing the Completion Quiz with at least 60% correct, Purdue Pesticide Programs and the Office of Indiana State Chemist will be notified that you have passed/completed the program. Allow at least 10 business days for the program credit to appear on your record.
