Office of Indiana State Chemist Requirements
- Minimum age is 18 years to obtain Commercial Certification
- Core + Category Certification Exam or follow supervision requirements (see below)
- Apply for a Not For Hire Pesticide applicators license
Supervision Requirements
Option 1: Individual with commercial applicator license does not require supervision.
Option 2: Those not holding a certification license must follow Federal Supervision Requirements.

- Category 13 - Limited Certification
- Category 14 - Agricultural Fertilizer Application
- Category RT - Registered Technician
