Shop at the Farmers' Market downtown.  Enjoy historical reenactment at the Feast of the Hunters' Moon. Go to a Saturday afternoon show by the Lafayette Ballet Company, or enjoy an evening play with Purdue's Experimental Theatre. For more information about events in the area, visit the Greater Lafayette Convention and Visitor's Bureau.

If you're looking for outdoor activities, you can take to the water with Purdue's Sailing Club on Lake Shafer, only 30 minutes away. Or if you prefer canoeing, rent a canoe and enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the Wabash River. Miss the mountains? Join Purdue's Ski and Snowboarding Club as they make their way to locations such as Crested Butte, Colorado; Park City, Utah; or Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
