Spring Fest Review - 2025

Spring Fest is over and we had a blast hosting a booth for the first time! The PEMC put on a display of scanning electron microscope (SEM) images of pollen and bugs for the day and had a constant stream of visitors of all ages.  We had so much fun, that we will certainly be back next year with more EM images of flora and fauna to delight and educate!

Butterfly Wing

Butterfly wing Low magnification SEM image of a butterfly wing. This magnification is similar to the magnification visible under a light microscope. The overlapping scales are visible.
