"Animals & Food Security Service Learning in Haiti"
The class that went to Haiti over Winter Break 2011-2012 has been hard at work raising funds and promoting their experiences. They gave a seminar on March 1 on lessons learned in Haiti, which was recorded (thanks to Dr. Radcliffe). They editied and created a video, which was submitted to the first-ever video competition sponsored by the American Society of Animal Science. View the video at View the video. The votes are in - the Haiti video placed 3rd in the competition and was recognized at the Joint Annual Meeting in July 2012!
