Getting Started
In LDCP you will gain leadership experience tailored to you and your situation, enjoy one-on-one coaching, and develop the “soft skills” employers today are looking for. Individuals who successfully complete the program will be awarded a Leadership Development Certificate at the Annual Spring Awards Banquet and will have the Leadership Development Certificate Program endorsement recorded on their transcript.

APPLICATIONS COMING SOON2 — ASSESS YOURSELF
The purpose of this Leadership Self-Assessment is to assist you in developing your Personal Development Plan. Make sure to review your assessment and PDP with coach.
LEADERSHIP ASSESSMENT3 — RECEIVE A COACH
After you submit a Statement of Intent and a résumé, you will be matched with a faculty or administrative professional staff member to guide and support you on your leadership journey. Then you will need to get familiar with using Passport.

The Personal Development Plan, or PDP, is a roadmap that will guide the student through consistent growth in four or more leadership skills and attributes.

5 — COLLECT BADGES
Participate in a minimum of 20 points worth of leadership development activities, events, and experience required to achieve all four leadership badges. Points are based on the length of individual experiences and require submission of a reflection explaining the benefits and skills acquired.
LEARN MORE6 — SHARE EXPERIENCES
The electronic portfolio, or “scrapbook,” is required to document your activities and what you learned. You are able to share your portfolio with others including potential supervisors or recruiters when you begin your career search.
