WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University Extension’s 2024 Rooted & Resilient Homesteading Conference will take place Nov. 1-2 at Kendallville’s Community Learning Center, 401 E. Diamond St. Attendees will gain the practical skills and knowledge needed to build a thriving, self-sufficient homestead.
The hands-on conference will bring together local experts and passionate homesteaders who will lead workshops on topics such as sustainable farming, food preservation, livestock management and business management techniques.
Seasoned and beginning homesteaders are encouraged to attend. There will also be workshops for kids.
Registration at the regular admission rate ends Sunday, Oct. 13. Late registration will be in effect starting Oct. 14. More details about registration information and ticket prices can be found on the Extension website.
