The Ohio Valley Entomological Association (OVEA) is an organization of students and professional entomologists dedicated to advancing the science of entomology and fostering student professional development.

OVEA aims to encourage and cultivate the professional development of students while promoting the study of entomology and engaging public awareness in the understanding of the discipline.

Every year a forum is hosted, featuring a research paper and oral presentation competition across undergraduate, M.S., and Ph.D. levels. Students can present their research and gain valuable practice before the annual Entomological Society of America (ESA) meeting, while also gaining valuable networking opportunities with other researchers from across the Ohio Valley.
