2027 Select Sires Inc. Internship - Corporate Communications
Location: Plain City, OH
Position Type: Internship, In-person
As an intern you will work alongside experienced professionals to gain insight into how genetics, management, technology, and market dynamics influence our success around the globe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Main responsibilities include the production of Select Sires’ yearly breeding calendars and writing press releases and customer testimonials
- Help coordinate trade show logistics and materials
- Assist with desktop publishing projects, including advertisements, brochures and flyers
- Perform clerical duties
- Participate in photoshoots
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills:
- Must have strong grammar and writing skills and a focus on details
- Must have basic journalism and/or public relations knowledge; experience with desktop design (Adobe Creative Suite) is a must, knowledge of Associated Press Style is a plus
Preferred:
- Major in communications, or in dairy- or animal-science with a communications focus, or a related area of study
- Familiarity with dairy cattle pedigrees
- Students in their junior or senior year are preferred
