Corteva Agriscience – Purdue’s Support for Success Program

Launched in 2021 and now proudly sponsored by Corteva Agriscience, the Corteva Agriscience – Purdue’s Support for Success Program, also known as the SFS Program, is a dynamic initiative designed to empower students in the College of Agriculture through meaningful community connections and professional development opportunities.

Rooted in the belief that every student, undergraduate or graduate, deserves access to resources that support their success, this program offers a welcoming network built to help you thrive at Purdue and in your future career.

Each year, the program hosts free professional development events, including:

  • Lunch seminars (2 per semester) on topics like academic achievement, career readiness, and building your professional network.

  • A leadership retreat (each spring semester) utilizing the nationally recognized LeaderShape Catalyst framework, helping students develop their voice and become agents of positive change.

  • A two-day industry workforce development symposium (each fall semester) equipping students with essential career readiness skills through interactive workshops and real-world insights.

Beyond professional development, the program is deeply committed to fostering a strong sense of community within the College of Agriculture. Whether it’s organizing free trips to local museums or co-sponsoring social events with student organizations, the SFS Program creates opportunities for students to connect, unwind, and build lasting relationships.

  • Each semester, students who participate in professional development events are invited to attend a free community development trip, offering a fun and engaging way to strengthen peer networks and explore shared interests beyond the classroom.
  • To further support student life, the program also invests in the growth and success of recognized student organizations by backing a wide range of club activities, either through individual requests or long-term partnerships, throughout the academic year.

All students in the College of Agriculture, both undergraduate and graduate, are invited to participate. Since its launch, the program has welcomed more than 1,400 event attendees and continues to grow each semester.

Discover your community. Build your skills. Step into your success.
