2027 Select Sires Inc. Internship - Semen Processing

As an intern you will work alongside experienced professionals to gain insight into how genetics, management, technology, and market dynamics influence our success around the globe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a positive representation of the Select Sires, Inc. Mission and Core Values.
- Initial semen evaluation and processing; sterilization of glassware and lab equipment.
- Performing semen quality control evaluations, semen extender preparation, general laboratory maintenance, and administrative tasks.
- Assisting with research projects, including sample preparation and analysis.
- Development and execution of an independent research project is a possibility, but not a requirement.

- Reliable means of transportation to report to work on-time.
Required Education:
This position is open to all undergraduate students studying animal/dairy science or a related scientific field. An applicant will preferably be entering their junior or senior year of undergraduate education, but applicants who have graduated and are planning on continuing education in a pertinent field (i.e. graduate or professional school) will be considered.
