CONSERVATION FELLOW
Position Type: 30+ hours per week
Position Dates: September 2026 to August 2027
Location: Lafayette, IN
Improve local natural resources as a conservation fellow through Americorps. This program is through West Lafayette Parks, but will report directly to the Wabash River Enhancement Corporation.
Responsibilities:
- Protect natural ecosystems through land stewardship activities
- Remove invasive plant species to establish native vegetation and improve habitat health
- Assist with watershed protection, erosion control, and other natural resource management projects
