The Purdue University Chapter of MANRRS is a part of a national non-profit organization. We strive to promote empowerment, education, and opportunities to serve as a springboard into careers and advancements. Our efforts reverberate through the campus of Purdue University and beyond.

HISTORY

1982: MANRRS got its start at Michigan State University,

seeking to combat the lack of support for students from historically excluded backgrounds.

1986: The first National Conference

was held at Michigan State University in 1986. Six colleges were in attendance.

1989: The official name of the organization

became MANRRS.

1990: The Purdue University Chapter of MANRRS

was established within Region V of the National Society.

TODAY: MANRRS continues to grow, including members from over 75 universities.

Each fall, MANRRS holds regional cluster meetings, serving as premier recruitment events. Each cluster offers attendees access to an opportunity fair, student competitions, mixers, and professional and leadership development.

Every spring, all regions of the society are united. Attendees experience educational training sessions, hear from inspirational speakers, and make powerful connections with industry partners, professionals, and students from more than 65 colleges and universities. There are also opportunities to compete in national competitions, including the business pitch, quiz bowl, and research presentation.
