Summer Programs

The Office of Academic Programs is proud to be able to provide support and leadership for a number of summer program opportunities. We aim to expand access to agricultural, natural resources, and related sciences to participants from all backgrounds. Click on the buttons below to find a program that best fits you.

The Cargill-Purdue Agribusiness Science Academy (C-PASA) offers three tiers: 1) C-PASA Middle School Day(s), 2) C-PASA High School Camp, and 3) The C-PASA Professional Workshop. Each program focuses on further expanding the understanding of the connection between STEM and agriculture for attendees. C-PASA Middle School Day (s) are one-day regional programs for middle school students. C-PASA High School Camp is a two-week pre-college enrichment program for high school students. C-PASA Professional Workshop is a three-day professional development series for STEM teachers, community organizers, and other professionals.

The Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) is a pathway to graduate education at Purdue University. This program is designed to help prepare students for their graduate studies by offering eight weeks of intensive research experiences and resources that contribute to students’ professional and academic growth.

Graduate Bridge is a five-week summer program for domestic graduate students who would benefit from an early, supportive start to their academic journey at Purdue. Participants gain research experience, professional development, and a strong sense of community through cohort-based programming, faculty mentorship, and a required three-credit orientation course. Students must be nominated by a faculty advisor from their academic department to be considered for the program.
