International Day of Climate Action
The International Day of Climate Action, celebrated annually on October 24th, raises awareness about the urgent need to address climate change. A worldwide movement where people come together to highlight the importance of environment conservation, advocate policies, and encourage sustainability.
What is climate action? All those helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (which worsen climate change), improve our adaptation to climate-caused issues, integrate climate change measures into policies, and more. Activities to do on this day include clean-up campaigns, hosting rallies/educational events, and even tree planting.
