Annual Indiana Woodland Owner Conference 2025

The annual Indiana woodland owner conference will be held at Turkey Run State Park October 31 and November 1. Hosted by the Indiana Forestry & Woodland Owners Association, the event is expected draw 150 landowners from across the state who come to improve their knowledge of forest management and network with other woodland owners. All are welcome to attend.

Conference Highlights

Friday October 31st includes optional morning and afternoon field tours of woodlands in Putnam County to learn about forest and wildlife management.

Saturday November 1st includes educational sessions at Turkey Run Inn on topics of interest to woodland owners, including American chestnut restoration, new prescribed fire legislation, and using phone apps in nature.

These sessions aim to support landowners in managing and appreciating their woodlands.

Register online or register via US Mail (print form, mail in with your check). Register for both Friday and Saturday, or for either day individually. Call the office at 765-496-5013 for late registrations but please register by October 20 if possible.
