Forestry Demonstration Area Field Day - SEPAC

Join Don Carlson, Purdue Extension Forester, for a driving and walking tour of the Southeast Purdue Agricultural Center (SEPAC) Forestry Demonstration Area. Meet at the SEPAC office. Directional Signs will be posted.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Objectives for Demonstration Area
  • Management Practices Implemented
  • Prescribed Fire Use
  • Creating Habitats for Birds and Wildlife 

Attendees will drive between tour stops, and at the stops, walk over moderately rough terrain. Please come dressed for a December morning in the woods. Lunch, snacks, and water will be provided for attendees.
