Deadline for Indiana Natural Resources Teacher Institute (NRTI)

Registration is open for the 2026 version of the Natural Resources Teachers Institute. Come learn how to incorporate natural resources into your classroom and even develop the lesson plans. This workshop will introduce you to the impact sustainable forestry has on our state's environment, economy and quality of life, and aims to equip teachers to apply that knowledge in the classroom. The deadline is March 31st, 2026.

This is a week-long, immersive professional development course based out of Morgan-Monroe State Forest from June 15-19 as we explore public and private forest land, tour forest industry and research sites and engage in educational activities you can adapt for your classroom/program.
