Chainsaw Workshop

Indiana Forestry & Woodland Owners Association (IFWOA) presents a Chainsaw Workshop for landowners. Learn how to safely and effectively use a chainsaw in this hands-on workshop designed specifically for woodland owners and land managers. Participants will receive practical instruction on chainsaw safety, maintenance, personal protective equipment, and basic tree-cutting techniques from experienced forestry professionals.

The workshop will be held on October 31 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Morgan-Monroe State Forest. Whether you’re managing your woodland, conducting habitat improvements, or maintaining trails and property, this program will provide valuable skills to help you work safely and confidently in the woods. Space may be limited, so interested participants are encouraged to register early.
