Seminar - The Secret Life of Trees: Where Forest Science Meets Film and Music

We are pleased to invite you to a special public seminar, “The Secret Life of Trees: Where Forest Science Meets Film and Music,” featuring Mario Troncoso, a 12-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, director, and executive producer.

In this seminar, Mario will introduce Music for Trees, an innovative collaboration with composer Graham Reynolds and cellist Jeffrey Zeigler. Through documentary filmmaking, field recordings, conversations with scientists, and an original musical score, the project explores how art and science can come together to reveal the fascinating complexity of forest ecosystems and deepen our connection with nature.
