Join Purdue Food Science on campus on September 11, 2026!
We're excited to welcome you and your family to the West Lafayette campus! Join us for "Back to Class" sessions featuring your favorite Food Science faculty members. Don't miss the building tours, photo opportunities, a chance to win football tickets in the suite and a reception featuring Student-Brewed Beer and food from the iconic Bruno's Pizza!
The cost of $15 includes everyone in your party that you register at the same.

Back to Class Sessions - 3:30pm-5:30pm

- 3:45pm-4:15pm - Back to the Classroom with Dr. Bruce Hamaker
- 4:15pm-4:45pm - Making Boba: Demonstration Activity
- 4:45pm-5:15pm - Food Safety Demonstration and Talk with Dr. Amanda Deering
- 5:15pm-5:30pm - FEMI: "What is FEMI, what have we done, and what are the possibilities?" with Dr. Hansel Mina
Building Tour and Photo Opportunities - 5:30pm-6:30pm
- Tour of Nelson Hall of Food Science
- Photo Opportunities with Boilermaker Xtra Special and Purdue Pete!
Special Drawing for football suite tickets - 6:30pm
- All those that register and attend will be entered to win 2 free tickets in the suite to the Purdue Football game on Saturday, September 12 against Wake Forest. Must be present to win.
Mix & Mingle Reception - 6:30pm - 7:30pm
- Enjoy Student-Brewed Beer and food from West Lafayette's iconic Bruno's Pizza.
On Saturday, September 12, join us at the free Ag Day Tailgate from 9:30am-11:30am before the noon football game against Wake Forest. (Please register separately for the free Ag Day Tailgate).
