Special Seminar: “Data-Driven Decision Making for Physical World Tasks”

Dr. Xianyuan Zhan, Research Associate Professor at the Institute for AI Industry Research (AIR) at Tsinghua University, will present on emerging data-driven decision-making methods for complex physical-world tasks, including offline imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and the use of large generative models.

The seminar will address real-world challenges such as limited data, safety requirements, and generalization constraints, and will outline applications in industrial control systems, autonomous driving, and robotics.

Open to all faculty, students, and researchers interested in AI, robotics, and physical-world applications.
