On February 1, 2022, B&G Foods announced the voluntary recall of Back to Nature® Fudge Mint Cookies due to peanuts not listed on the label. The product is sold in 6.4 oz (181 g) white packages. Consumers can identify the recalled products by checking the UPC code 8-19898-01102-5 and the best-by date OCT 02, 2023. So far, no allergic reaction has been reported related to the recalled products. The recalled products are sold in retail stores nationwide. Consumers who have purchased the recalled products can return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
Consumers who have food allergies may develop specific allergic reactions such as itchy eyes and nose, rashes, and vomiting. In rare cases, the symptoms may be life-threatening.
