Top Farmer Conference: January 10, 2025

As one of the most successful and longest-running management programs specifically crafted for farmers, the Purdue Top Farmer Conference is a one-day event for agricultural producers and agribusiness professionals looking to navigate the complexities of today's agricultural landscape. Participants will have the opportunity to network with peers and hear from farm management experts and agricultural economists from Purdue, Farm Credit Services of America, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Acres, a land value data analytics company.

Communication & Marketing Specialist, Department of Agricultural Economics

Kami is the communications and marketing manager for the department of agricultural economics at Purdue University. She is responsible for creating content for the department’s website, writing and editing stories and news releases, and managing the department’s social media presence.

She is the managing editor for the Purdue Agricultural Economics Report (PAER), Purdue AgEcon Policy Briefs (PAEPB), and the Purdue AgEcon monthly e-newsletter. She also writes monthly news releases for the AgEconomy Barometer.

Kami holds a Masters degree in Mass Communication from the University of Central Florida and a bachelor’s degree in  communication from the University of Texas. In previous roles, she was a technical director and promotions producer for a television station.

In her free time, Kami can be found outside – hiking, kayaking, and visiting national parks throughout the US.
