Alumni & Friends

Whether through the shared experiences of Summer Practicum/Summer Camp or of classwork/lab work in aquatic sciences, forestry or wildlife, or due to a shared interest in research, teaching or extension education in natural resources, we are thrilled to count you among our Purdue Forestry and Natural Resources alumni and friends.

No matter what has brought you into our FNR family or when during our history you were affiliated with our department, we hope you find this alumni and friends page to be your home.

Make sure to stay connected and up-to-date on all things FNR through our FNR Connect newsletter. You can also network within the Purdue Agricultural Alumni Association.

Throughout the year, our Purdue FNR alumni and friends are nominated for and receive awards on the University, College and Department levels. Don't miss the opportunity to nominate yourself or your friends, classmates and colleagues. Learn more about available awards, past winners and nomination processes on our Alumni Awards page.

Nominations for the FNR Lifetime Achievement Award, Distinguished Alumnus Award and Outstanding Young Alumnus Award will be accepted from May 5 through Sept. 12, 2025. All nominations must include a copy of the nominee's curriculum vitae or resume and a typed 1-2 page description of the nominee's accomplishments. Incomplete nominations will not be considered. All completed nominations will remain in the selection pool for a period of three years before updates will be required for continued consideration.

Check out the roots of Forestry and Natural Resources at Purdue, beginning in 1905, on our History page.
