Description:  

The Executive Director serves as the chief executive
leader of the organization. The Executive Director
is responsible for advancing the organization’s
mission, leading staff, developing long-term
planning and vision and broadening support for
ACRES’ mission within the community.

Effective nonprofit leadership can come from a variety of professional
backgrounds. While conservation and land trust experience is valued, ACRES is
equally interested in candidates with strong leadership, management, financial
stewardship, resource development and relationship-building skills

 

 

Compensation & Benefits:  

 The salary range is $100K - $125k annually

Responsibilities:  

 • Demonstrate passion for the
protection and stewardship of land.
• Serve as the overall leader of
the organization.
• Ensure successful implementation
of mission and strategic plans.
• Provide stewardship of organizational
finances, including budget
development, cash flow monitoring,
investment management and timely
financial reporting.
• Inspire and engage staff, board,
members, volunteers, donors and the
communities we serve.
• Serve as the primary public
ambassador for ACRES, maintaining
and creating new partnerships.
• Collaborate with board and staff to
create long-term goals and vision.
• Ensure organizational compliance
with internal policies, legal
requirements, best practices and
core values.
• Wise prioritization of ACRES’
resources and areas of focus.
